"Would you look at what you and your stupid inventions got us into this time? Were stuck on an uncharted island in the middle of the Atlantic ocean!" Cindy yelled, pacing on the sandy beach.
"My stupid inventions? Your the one that wanted me to fly you to Paris in my hovercraft!" Jimmy yelled, tampering with the hovercraft's engine.
"Well, I don't have any money to buy a plane ticket. And I wanted to go visit my Aunt for the summer. I was going to buy you a shirt or something." Cindy crossed her arms and sat on the edge of the hovercraft.
"I told you this thing isn't what it used to be. And you owe me way more than a shirt." Jimmy ran his fingers through his hair. It was shorter now.
"Ugh, Were gonna be stuck here now aren't we? Were gonna become castaways that go insane and start talking to rocks." Cindy flopped back into the seat behind her.
"That's only for lonely castaways. You have me to talk to." Jimmy said, trying to reassure her.
"I don't want you to talk to." She snapped back.
"Ok, Ok. Calm down. We just need to figure out what's wrong with the engine." Jimmy said.
"It's your machine, you figure it out." She said angrily.
"Alright, stop it. It's not my fault, there's something screwy with the engine. Would you just calm down?" He asked, carefully peering into the engine.
"No, I will not calm down! I should be in Paris right now! Not on an island with my idiot." Cindy said.
"Oh, I'm your idiot? Alright, if you think you're so smart, you fix it." Jimmy said angrily.
"Fine I will." She said, examining the engine. She had to admit, she knew nothing about mechanics, but she wouldn't say that out loud. Everything looked right. She tried to start it, but it didn't do anything.
"Are you ready to admit you need me to fix it?" Jimmy asked.
"Yes." She walked slowly over to him and hugged him. "I need you to fix it. I just want to get off of this island." She said sadly.
"Alright, I'll fix it don't worry." He kissed her forehead before letting her go and trying to fix his machine.
"Oh, here's the problem!" He reached into the engine and twisted two wire ends together. "Alright, hop in." Jimmy said, starting the craft.
"Oh my god! I love you!" She jumped in and kissed his cheek.
"I love you too. Just, next time, Let me fix it before you get all angry and start yelling." Jimmy said, getting the craft into the air.
"Right. There better not be a next time."
"Yeah, I think being castaways twice is enough. And umm, I'm still your boyfriend right? Not your idiot?"
"Not an idiot. You fixed the thingy. And I wasn't smart enough to."
"The thingy? Babe, it's called an engine." He said, putting on the auto pilot.
"Whatever it's called. The point is, you're smart, were not castaways, and you are an amazing boyfriend." She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. "How much longer until we get to Paris?"
"About a half hour." Jimmy said, looking at the little map screen.
"Think that's enough time to kiss a little?" Cindy asked.
"Well, I guess-" He couldn't finish before Cindy crashed her lips into his again.
